UCC Upcountry Community Council Meeting
October 9, 2017
Veteran’s Hall on Buckhorn Ridge Road, Pioneer, CA
We are very fortunate to have Detective Josh Crabtree from Calaveras County who will be speaking on “The Impacts of Marijuana in Small Communities”. Josh grew up in Amador County and graduated from Amador High School in 1992. He went into the Army and left active duty in 2000. He then joined the California National Guard Counter Drug Task Force, working with CAMP (Campaign Against Marijuana Planting) in Humboldt, Mendocino and Lake County.
In 2001-2002 he worked marijuana eradication across the State and was then hired at Calaveras County in 2006 and assigned as a detective in 2006 for nearly eight years. In 2016, was assigned to run the Marijuana Enforcement Team. He is married to Tammie Crabtree and has two daughters who both enlisted in the Army. He also has one grandson.
Joining him will be Michael Parks from Amador County Sheriff’s Department who will update us on Amador County Marijuana issues.
All are invited and bring your questions. We will also have our regular reports from our District 3 Supervisor, and District 3 Amador Water Agency, along with our other committee reports. Come and meet your neighbors who also love Amador County.
Hope to see you there!
