Veteran’s Hall on Buckhorn Ridge Road, Pioneer, CA
At this Upcountry Meeting we welcome 2 guests:
Anne Platt, CEO of Sutter Amador Hospital (Jackson, California), will provide a slide presentation with information about healthcare in our county, the latest Sutter Amador Hospital information, and information about the Sutter Foundation owned medical center next door to the Pioneer Elementary School.
Dick Lockwood, former Jackson PD Chief of Police, will be giving a Personal Safety Tips presentation.
Anne Platt, born in Switzerland where her dad was an American diplomat, moved to the U.S. when she was four years old. She served as CEO of Doctor’s Hospital and East Morgan County Hospital in Brush, Colo., as well as a few other positions before being made CEO of Sutter Amador Hospital, a 50-bed hospital, in 2011.
Richard “Dick” Lockwood, Chief of Police – Retired from City of Jackson, CA (1982 – 1992) and City of Astoria, OR. Serving in law enforcement as a Chief of Police, Division Lieutenant (second in command), Detective, School Resource Officer, Traffic Officer, Patrol Sergeant, Patrol Officer Department Statistician and Training Officer. Dick attended the Alameda County Sheriff’s Department Basic Academy in Pleasanton, California in 1965 and graduated from POST courses in Supervision, Management and Executive courses. Dick is a Retired Senior Law Enforcement Training Consultant for the State of California Attorney General’s Office (Commission on Peace Officers Standards and Training) and is a member of the California Police Chief’s Association for 35 years. He taught “Training Manager” and “Basic Police Academy” classes throughout California.
Everyone is invited and please bring your questions.
